Eryk Ve’s accessibility notes are the longest on the directory, and they’re the best introduction to how they work.
Masking available on request. Air purifier running constantly. Hypoallergenic considerations. Specialising in people who struggle to receive therapeutic touch or have other sensory needs. Pre- and post-operative care informed by trans clients’ experiences. And then, plainly stated, the one barrier they can’t remove: a flight of interior stairs up to the office suite.
That’s someone who has thought carefully about who walks through the door and what would stop them.
The work itself
Eryk’s style gets described as intuitive, moderate to deep pressure. The baseline is Swedish with myofascial and neuromuscular work layered in as needed, weighted toward the nervous system and toward building a felt sense of safety.
Their own history with trauma, chronic stress, fatigue and pain is where the practice started. The career grew out of their own healing, in that order.
There’s also a background in clinical research, which they describe as the joy of merging science with intuition. They hold a degree in Comprehensive Massage Therapy from the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy and First Degree Reiki.
