Pittsburgh Massage Directory LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates pittsburghmassagedirectory.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to two groups of people: Visitors (members of the public who browse the Site) and Listed Practitioners (licensed massage therapists with an active listing). Different practices apply to each group, and we’ve made that clear throughout.

1. Information We Collect from Visitors

We collect very little information from Visitors, and we do not collect any personally identifiable information.

1.1 Anonymous Site Analytics

We use Fathom Analytics to understand how the Site is used — for example, which pages are visited and how people navigate the Site. Fathom is a privacy-first analytics platform. It does not use cookies, does not track users across websites, and does not store IP addresses. No personally identifiable information is collected or processed through Fathom.

1.2 No Contact Form Data from Visitors

Visitors contact LMTs directly using contact information provided in each practitioner’s listing (such as a phone number, email address, or external booking link). Pittsburgh Massage Directory does not collect, receive, store, or process any inquiries, messages, or personal information submitted by Visitors in connection with contacting a practitioner. Any communication between a Visitor and an LMT is conducted entirely outside of our platform.

2. Information We Collect from Listed Practitioners

When a licensed massage therapist creates and maintains a listing on the Site, we collect the following categories of information:

2.1 Account and Professional Information

When you register for a listing, we collect:

• Your full name
• Your Pennsylvania massage therapy license number (or applicable jurisdiction)
• Your professional credentials and certifications
• Your business name, address, and contact information
• Your email address
• A professional portrait photograph (required)
• Optional images such as studio photos or additional professional photos
• A professional biography and description of your practice and services

2.2 Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not collect, store, or have access to your full credit card number or sensitive payment details. Stripe processes and secures all payment information in accordance with their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance standards. We retain only basic transaction records such as payment dates and subscription status.

2.3 Communications

We send transactional and account-related emails to Listed Practitioners using Postmark, a third-party email delivery service. These emails may include account confirmations, subscription notices, billing reminders, and periodic reports on your listing’s traffic and performance. Postmark processes your email address solely for the purpose of delivering these communications on our behalf.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected from Listed Practitioners for the following purposes:

• To create, display, and maintain your public listing on the Site
• To process and manage your subscription and billing
• To send you account-related communications, including subscription confirmations and renewal notices
• To send periodic traffic and performance reports for your listing
• To verify eligibility and enforce our Terms and Conditions
• To improve the Site and user experience
• To respond to your questions or support requests

We do not share your information with third-party advertising platforms or use it to serve you ads on other websites or services.

4. How Your Information Is Shared

4.1 Public Listing

The information you include in your listing — including your name, credentials, biography, practice description, professional photos, and contact information — is displayed publicly on the Site. You control what information appears in your listing, within the requirements of our Terms and Conditions. Please do not include any information in your listing that you do not wish to be publicly visible.

4.2 Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with a limited number of trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Site. These providers are:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Postmark — email delivery
• Fathom Analytics — anonymous site analytics (no personal data shared)

Each of these providers processes your information only as necessary to perform their services on our behalf and is bound by their own privacy and data security obligations. We do not authorize them to use your information for their own marketing purposes.

4.3 Legal Obligations

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights or safety of Pittsburgh Massage Directory LLC, our users, or the public, or respond to a court order, subpoena, or government request.

4.4 No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and listing information for as long as your subscription is active. If your subscription is cancelled or terminated, your listing will be removed from public view. We may retain certain account records for a reasonable period thereafter for legal, billing, and record-keeping purposes.

If you would like to request deletion of your information, please contact us at admin@pittsburghmassagedirectory.com. We will respond to deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include use of reputable, security-focused third-party services (Stripe, Postmark) and standard web security practices.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. 7. Your Rights and Choices

As a Listed Practitioner, you have the following rights with respect to your information:

• Access: You may request a summary of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: You may update or correct your listing information at any time through your account settings.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting us at admin@pittsburghmassagedirectory.com.
• Opt-out of non-essential communications: If we introduce optional marketing or promotional emails in the future, you will have the ability to opt out.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

LMT listings may include links to external websites, such as a practitioner’s personal website or booking platform. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external sites you visit.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on the Site with an updated effective date. If changes are material, we will notify Listed Practitioners by email. Your continued use of the Site after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
