About

Integrative, trauma Informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming and inclusive bodywork.
_____________

Hi, I’m Frankie!

I am a queer, non-binary, neurodivergent Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Specialist, Reiki III Master practitioner, trained body image mentor, and clinical hypnotherapist. My practice brings a trauma-informed, gender and body affirming integrative approach to bodywork combining therapeutic medical/corrective massage techniques, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Reiki, and breathwork. I have a client-centered approach, taking time to connect with you to learn your unique needs and create a treatment plan that feels right for you.

I studied hypnotherapy, yoga teaching and life coaching at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in 2011. Spiritual teacher Adrienne Cobb trained and attuned me to Reiki III in 2014. I received my massage therapy training at the Sedona School of Massage in 2018.

My training over the years as well as my lived experience as a queer, neurodivergent person living with hypermobility and chronic pain informs everything that I do. Bodywork has helped me physically, emotionally and energetically, and continues to cultivate my deep respect and appreciation for the body’s own wisdom and how we can spark that innate sense of healing through caring touch.

I am grateful and honored to meet you there.

When I'm not in the studio, I'm hanging with my partner and my two ridiculously cute cats. I love hiking, camping, riding my bike around town, thrifting, listening to audiobooks, and deep diving down rabbit holes related to psychology, neurodivergence, hypermobility, and environmental justice. I'm really just a goofy nerd obsessed with cats and sweet treats.

I don't even know where to start with how pleased I am with my services provided by Frankie!! The environment feels(and is) safe, very clean, welcoming, and relaxing as soon as you enter. I appreciate the pre-massage consultation to make sure they have the best understanding of my needs and to educate me on the services I will receive and how they will be done. I appreciate the openness for conversation and quietness. THE PRESSURE? is PERFECT. They don't shy away on pressure and I love it. I just got my second massage from them and already planning my next one. The relief I feel during and after the massage is unmatched. I 100% recommend them. It's really amazing to have safe spaces for queer people to receive care in Pittsburgh and am thankful for them providing such. Obviously I will be returning and you should definitely book with them if you're considering it!

I had a massage with Frankie recently, and it was hands-down the best massage I’ve ever had. From the start, they took time to check in about my past experiences, preferences, and specific needs. Unlike some massages I’ve had where it feels like the therapist is just going through the motions, Frankie was fully present and attentive to what my body needed. I’d been dealing with neck pain for weeks, and I walked out completely pain-free. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend Frankie to anyone looking for a thoughtful, skilled, and truly healing massage.

Frankie is terrific. I never had a massage before, and was nervous about my first experience. Frankie walked me through everything and was responsive as I learned what felt right for me. I didn't know my nervous system could feel as relaxed as it did after that massage, and I was quick to rebook. Strongly recommend for anyone, and neurodivergent clients will feel comfortable with Frankie.

I’ve had a lot of traditional massages over the years but this experience was unlike anything. The massage is personalized to your individual needs. We talked about my problem areas but also the emotional stress I had been carrying. As she worked on the front of my neck, around the area of my throat, I felt an unexpected release. I shared how growing up I never felt like I had a voice or was allowed to express my feelings. As the tension in that area started to ease, I became overwhelmed with emotion and began crying. There were many moments throughout the session where I could physically feel tension releasing that I didn’t even realize I was holding onto. Whether you believe in Reiki or simply appreciate a deeply intuitive massage, I can’t recommend this experience enough. Frankie has a gift!!! I left feeling lighter, more relaxed, and like I had released something I had been carrying for a very long time. It was exactly what I needed and I’ll definitely be back.
